In partnership with US Officials and the US Officials Referee Academy we have organized a number of on-line talks given by top class referees and observers, that talk in turn about different refereeing subjects.

ALAN KELLY SPEAKS ABOUT GAMESMANSHIP

Alan Kelly is a former FIFA referee from the Republic of Ireland. After refereeing for many years at the top level of both domestic and European competitions, he moved to the United States where he became a MLS referee. He’s still active in America’s top league.

His palmares counts a total of 12 UEFA Champions League games, 18 UEFA Europa League games and 13 UEFA Cup games (predecessor competition of the Europa League).

In 2016 he was names the MLS’s Referee of the Year and and was selected to referee the MLS Cup final between Toronto FC and Seattle Sounders FC. In March 2019 he acted as VAR in the final of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Poland.

SANDRA SERAFINI SPEAKS ABOUT POSITIONING

Sandra Serafini is one of America’s most important women referee. Originally from Hamilton, Ontario she moved to the USA in 2000.

A former FIFA official. She is active in referee education both in the USA and FIFA. Since 2015 she is PRO’s (America’s top competition) Women Referee Manager.
