Since the very start Referee Abroad has always been a network of football referees. With both our founders being football referees themselves, we focused on this particular sport when Referee Abroad started, and then expanded.
With a network of more of 30 tournaments annually, we’re now the world’s biggest international refereeing network when it comes to football tournaments. 800 referees every year take part to our events – a result of which we’re proud.
It’s now the time to expand to other sports as well. Upon request by some of our tournament partners, we will also start selecting referees in a range of other disciplines, which you can find below:
Futsal
Many football referees are also futsal referees, and this is why this is obviously the first discipline we look into when it comes to expanding to other sports. In 2022 we will offer all our referees the opportunity to take part to two futsal events, they are:
The Costa Blanca Futsal Cup in Benidorm, Spain
The Ibercup Andalucia in Estepona, Spain
The FIFCO Corporate Champions Cup in India.
