During this year’s Ibercup Cascais, our elite refereeing experience that takes place during Easter in Portugal, we were delighted to count on the support of former Premier League and FIFA Referee Bobby Madley (England).
Bobby, who attended as a referee observer, also refereed a game, assisted by Santiago Bedoya, a young Swedish referee from our Referee Academy, and William and Jock Quartermain, two young referee brothers from Victoria, Australia.
What an experience it was for our young up-and-coming match officials! All the more interesting as during the game we used headsets from our partner Axiwi. Being able to keep constant contact during the game with a referee like Bobby was certainly a great learning experience for them.
