Dec 22nd –  Games at the IMG Boys Invitational end around 3 PM. In the afternoon we plan a quick visit to downtown Tampa, the largest city in West Central Florida, which lies on the road between Sarasota and Orlando. In the evening we reach Orlando, where we will stay for the next four days in a luxury apartment with pool.

Dec 23rd – We will spend the day in Orlando, visiting either Disney World or Universal Studios; the world’s most famous theme parks. In the evening, we will attend the NBA game between Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic.

Dec 24th –  We will head to Cape Canaveral where we will spend the day visiting the NASA space station where we will also come “face to face” with space shuttle Enterprise. In the afternoon we will head to the beach in world-famous Daytona Beach or Cocoa Beach.

Referees can travel to one of Florida’s international airports in order to reach Sarasota and Orlando.

We suggest referees to fly into either Orlando or Miami.

Travel should be coordinated with the Tournaments Abroad representative attending the tournament.

Tournaments take place in two of Florida’s most iconic cities: Sarasota (IMG Showcase) and Orlando (Disney Showcase).

It’s warm all year round so what a chance to get away from the winter cold!

Sarasota is a popular city on the Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida and the county seat of Sarasota County. It is known for its vibrant arts community, excellent restaurants, unique shopping, and beautiful beaches. Sarasota, although a mid-sized city, is considered to be the cultural center of West Central Florida. The city has a metropolitan flavor unique to cities of its size and to cities in Florida.

Orlando is one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world because of the nearby theme parks and resorts. About 35 minutes southwest of downtown Orlando is the world famous Walt Disney World. Also close are Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Orlando. Not far from Disney World lies the Alligator Capital of the World: Gatorland.
