The journey between IberCup and Tournaments Abroad started in July 2010.
The IberCup has since become the world’s leading youth tournament and Tournaments Abroad has grown alongside them, now represented across all continents with more than 25 tournaments and 500 referees each year.
Today we’re happy to announce that the IberCup and Tournaments Abroad will continue being exclusive partners after signing a long term contract.
Tournaments Abroad will manage all refereeing matters for all IberCup tournaments across the globe.
Matthew Day, Tournaments Abroad’s Chief Operating Office and Ibercup’s Referee Director, said: “It’s been a fruitful collaboration since day one and it gives us real satisfaction to continue working alongside an organisation of IberCup’s stature. They celebrate their tenth anniversary this year and Tournaments Abroad will be there in full force as usual, bringing referees from all four corners of the world to participate in a week of top matches and learning amidst a truly international environment”.
